This is not a commitment, just a chance to gauge interest, bat some ideas around, and get things going. debinomaha Omaha, NE Post #: 28	I haven't heard from anyone but Bill about being able to make this meeting on Monday at 6 PM to start knocking around ideas for Glacier....I'm going to change the meeting location to Cabela's at 6 PM (is there some sort of meeting place/coffee house there?) for ease of traveling from Lincoln for Bill. Hope other folks can make it! -Deb

user 11213898 La Vista, NE Post #: 1	So is the meeting at Scooters or Cabellas? I am going to try to make it! If I don't, count me in as a 'yes' to whatever you guys decide. That is anytime after next June. I am seriously booked through June and I'm not sure the weather up there would allow for anything earlier than that anyway. Unless we plan for camping on snow. Personnally, I think a trip to the big sky state around the 12th of August during the Perseid Meteor shower would add to an already amazing experience. Hint Hint

Post #: 6	I would definitely be up for a trip to Glacier. I've actually been trying to get back there for a few years without much success. I definitely recommend going some time in late June or early July to get the best of the wildflowers.

I definitely recommend going some time in late June or early July to get the best of the wildflowers. Justin - we're aiming for the second or third week in July. Doug Daniel has started an email list - shoot him a line with your email and we'll keep you in the loop. Right now Doug is looking at flights and I am going to speak to a ranger about planning a route and picking camping sites. We have until early April to get things squared away and our backcountry application in. If you have some ideas/thoughts/tips from your experiences, I'd love to hear them!
