You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
Outside of Jasper Arkansas, all types of climbing from bouldering, trad, top rope, and sport climbing.
From everyone that was at the last meeting Ryan had mentioned something about Geo Caching but in the form of a race with teams. I've done some research on this and it sounds like we could certainly put this together.
I know not everyone has a GPS unit, I'm getting one hopefully soon. I'm also looking into renting GPS units for this particular event. This will be some weekend most likely noon-late afternoon. There will be several locations in and around Omaha. Clues at each Geo Cache location will lead you to the next. Everyone will "Meetup" at the final location. I haven't decided if I'm going to make a timed race with a prize or not.
Just let me know if this is of any interest to you.
Take care,

I've always wanted to do RAGBRAI and this might be the year. It's a bicycle ride that starts in Omaha and goes all the way to the eastern side of Iowa. It's the last week in July.

Lets get out and really enjoy winter in the Black Hills of SD. We can get snowshoes from UNO rental center and all the gear we need if you don't have any and go snow shoeing on some great country in Dec like the 2nd week for 3-4days or more if you all want, its way worth it to stay out longer and really enjoy it....
Day trip down or back or we can stay overnight at a cheap super 8 that is really close. $13 a day to climb top rope and boulder. $10 for just bouldering. They also have sport climbing.

I've been before and it's a sweet gym. I'm thinking either mid December or early January.
I've done this ride 7 years in a row. June 12-13th, A 2 day, 100 miles or 50 miles each day depending on route, cycling tour with 2,000+ riders every year. The ride goes from Bettendorf, IA to Dubuque, IA along the Mississippi River and back on the second day. Riders cross the river twice and you bike through Subula, IA (the only island town along the Mississippi, along the beautiful Palisade in Illinois and even into a corner of Wisconsin. It's the most beautiful ride I've done, people are great, wonderful support, challenging but great fun. Here is a link to help entice. http://www.qcbc.org/tomrv/
It's a guaranteed adventure!
As bike season gets closer (ALMOST THERE!) I'll most likely post this as a Meetup Event but wanted to get an idea of how many people would be interested in, if not riding the tour together, at least car pooling to get there and back.
