Whitewater boating is an awesome way to get out and enjoy the outdoors from a perspective unlike any other. You might be tempted to think that it is crazy, extreme. It can be, but it's also only as hard core as you want it to be. There is plenty of whitewater that is accessible to the beginner paddler - and a lot closer to Omaha then you might think.
This class is meant for anyone who has never held a paddle in their life through those who have paddled a lot, just not in a whitewater boat. This session will be held in the pool and will cover all that you need to know in order to head out with a group for your first whitewater experience.
This class or equivalent experience will be required for any whitewater excursions the club plans this summer. There are also classes through other groups so don't worry if you aren't free on the 13th.
